Restaurant Khao RangArrive at the hotel and free time. Welcome at 6:00 p.m. and drive to dinner in a beautifully situated restaurant on Khao Rang Hill. Then return to the hotel. (a)

  • Thailand Rubber PlantationDrive towards Phang Nga and visit one of the numerous rubber plantations. In the Krabi region, many people make their living from raw rubber production. Then visit Wat Tham Suwan Khua, a cave temple. Continue north with a stop at the mountain temple Wat Bang Riang. Lunch at a local restaurant and drive towards Surat Thani.
  • On a 1.5-hour boat trip with a long-tail boat on the Ta Pi River, you can still see original life. Here in the south, as is traditional in many Thai regions, the main entrance of the residential buildings faces the water. Rivers and canals serve as transport routes. In the evening you will reach the port city of Surat Thani and the hotel. (F,M)
  • Wat mahatatMorning drive to a monkey school near the city.
    Here monkeys are taught to harvest coconuts from the palm trees. Continue to Nakhon Si Thamarat for lunch and the museum to see how the traditional shadow puppets are made. Then visit Wat Mahathat, the largest temple in southern Thailand.

  • shadow play theatreafter breakfast we go to Pak Meng Beach Pier, from where the day tour starts. By longtail boat we go first to Markot Cave on Muk Island and then to Kradan Island for snorkeling and lunch on the beach. There is enough time to swim and relax.
  • In the afternoon we drive back to the hotel.
  • Today you start with a visit to the Botanical Garden. On a stroll along a nature trail you will learn interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the region. The small Phakdi Museum in Kantang District is housed in a wooden house, the residence of the former provincial governor. Stop at the first rubber tree (planted in 1899) in southern Thailand before lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon at leisure, in the late afternoon you will experience first-hand impressions of today’s life in this old trading city during a tuk-tuk ride through Trang. (F, M)

  • Kaleidoscope Beach KrabiOn the way to Krabi, make a short photo stop at Ang Thon Waterfall and visit the local market in Nuea Khlong. This is followed by lunch at Ruen Mai, a renowned garden restaurant in Krabi.
  • After lunch, visit the Tiger Cave Temple of Wat Tham Suea and the jungle at the back of the temple complex. The highlight of this temple is only open to sporty participants: the Temple Mount with a fantastic view over the coast and the surrounding area. The viewing platform with the Buddha statue and Buddha’s footprint can be reached via 1237 uneven steps.
  • Then drive to Phu Pha Resort in Ao Nang. (F,M)
  •   Chicken IslandDrive to the beach of Ao Nang (5min.), from here the all-day tour “Island Hopping” starts with Koh Poda, Chicken Island + Tub Island and Phra Nang Bay with the Princess Cave. Lunch is on Chicken Island, in a typical beach restaurant. There is enough time to relax, walk or swim in Phra Nang Peninsula. Then return to the hotel.
  • View of Railey and Tonsai Beach from Ao PhranangToday you will drive to the Emerald Pool, a magnificent lagoon fed by crystal-clear water running down from the mountains, and then to the Hot Springs, a hot bathing spring just outside of Krabi.
  • Lunch is at a local restaurant. Afternoon at leisure on the beach in Ao Nang or at leisure at the hotel. (F, L)

  • Koh Panyi VillageStop at Phang Nga with a boat trip in Phang Nga Bay with its mangrove forests and the well-known sand-lime rock formations.

    This unique bay was formed during the last Ice Age. The Malaysian peninsula sank and today only the bizarre limestone cliffs with countless caves and grottos protrude. Drive to the stilt village of the “sea gypsies” Koh Panyee and visit the village. Continue past Khao Phing Kan Island with the famous James Bond Rock.

    Then lunch at the pier and return to Phuket. (B, L) You will be brought to your hotel or you will be transferred to your individual bathing holiday. Hotels on request!
